Role Overview:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic, caring, and career-driven individual with experience in childcare to join our team as an Autism Support Teaching Assistant. If you have a natural instinct for teaching and enjoy helping children develop into bright young pupils, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to an Autistic child in a Year 3 class
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and staff
• Help develop and implement individualized education plans
• Assist in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment
• Monitor and report on student progress
• Manage behavior effectively and with confidence
• Motivate and encourage students in their learning

Ideal Candidate:

• Enthusiastic about working with children and supporting their learning
• Team player, able to work well both in the classroom and across the school
• Confident in behavior management and resilient
• Positive, enthusiastic, and able to motivate children
• Passionate about working in education, particularly with SEN children
