Ortus Recruitment is seeking a proactive and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Brentford. This full-time role, starting in September, is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), offering 1:1 assistance to help them thrive in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Key Stage 2 student with SEN, helping them access the curriculum effectively
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored interventions in key subjects like Maths and English
• Facilitate small group activities that enhance social skills and build confidence
• Maintain a positive and structured learning environment, encouraging the student’s independence and engagement
• Collaborate with the SENCO, parents, and other school staff to ensure the student’s needs are met
