Salary: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students across various year groups who require additional support with their learning. You will assist teachers in delivering tailored educational programs, supporting students with their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to engage fully in their learning.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting resources and strategies to meet their individual needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment, encouraging student confidence and independence.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to student assessments.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff, promoting a collaborative approach to learning.
About You:
We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and motivated individual who can inspire and support students in their educational journey. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or similar environment.
- An understanding of SEN and experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive, flexible approach to meeting the needs of students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable.
- Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
