Special Needs Teaching Assistant – Primary | FT
This job posting is for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) role in Camberwell, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The position is well-suited for someone passionate about education and interested in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Autism and Speech and Language difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1:1 Support: Provide focused support to an Autistic child in a Year 3 class.
- Classroom Assistance: Assist the class teacher with various tasks, supporting the entire class as needed.
- Childcare: Supervise and care for children during break times.
- Behavior Management: Help manage and respond to challenging behaviors in the classroom.
- Parent Engagement: Foster positive relationships with the parents of the children.
