Salary: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and provide additional support to students who may need extra help. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to helping them succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, providing support to students individually or in small groups.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Support students with SEN by adapting resources and strategies to meet their individual needs.
  • Provide feedback to students to help them understand their progress and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour, promoting a safe and respectful environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed.

About You:
We are looking for a friendly, adaptable, and committed individual who is eager to support students in their learning journey. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with some exposure to SEN.
  • A good understanding of the school curriculum and the ability to support students across a range of subjects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning in the classroom.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field are desirable.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly valued.
