Ortus recruitment are looking for a qualified individual for a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The candidate should have previous experience working with schools and SEN.

The role consists of helping teachers plan lessons and supporting children with their learning and development, 1:1 and in groups.

The school is Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ located in Upper Norwood which has plenty of shops, links to buses and trains for easy travel to and from the school.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and passionate about working in schools and with children. They should have a can-do attitude towards supporting children and understand the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum. We are looking for a confident individual who can communicate effectively with team and pupils. The individual should be motivated and eager to learn and further gain experience working with children.

• Right to work in UK
• 2 relevant references
• Able to work full time (Monday – Friday)
• Possess enhanced DBS on update service (It Is necessary to have a DBS on the update service to proceed)
