Do you have the skills and dedication to provide tailored support and help students overcome their challenges? We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Thornton Heath, Croydon.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of SEN, including ADHD, autism, and sensory processing needs. Your role will involve providing individualised support, assisting with classroom activities, and helping students to access the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, adapting learning resources to meet their needs.
- Assist in implementing and reviewing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans, working closely with the SENCO and class teachers.
- Support students with emotional regulation and social skills development, using structured and positive reinforcement strategies.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records, contributing to assessments and planning.
About You:

Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or childcare are desirable.
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly valued.
