Ortus Recruitment is delighted to offer an opportunity for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Chiswick. This full-time role, starting in September, involves providing dedicated 1:1 support to a Key Stage 2 student with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Key Stage 2 student with SEN, adapting resources and teaching methods to meet their needs
• Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment
• Lead small group interventions focusing on literacy, numeracy, and social skills
• Build strong, positive relationships with the student to enhance their confidence and engagement
• Work closely with the SENCO and teachers to track and report on the student’s progress and development

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a primary school setting, particularly with students with SEN
