A vibrant primary school in Hounslow is seeking a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs in this key stage of their education.

The Role:
You will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to ensure that Year 2 students with SEN, including those with autism and speech and language difficulties, receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for SEN students in Year 2.
• Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials.
• Help students develop their social, communication, and academic skills.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external professionals to meet student needs.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students in a primary school setting.
• Understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and SEN strategies.
• Patient, caring, and proactive in supporting children’s development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
