Ortus recruitment are currently looking for a candidate who has previous experience working in schools with SEN for a Teaching Assistant role in Selhurst.

The role consists of helping teachers plan lessons and supporting children with their health and education needs. They will also be expected to work on a 1-2-1 basis and in groups.

The school is Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ located in the vibrant area of Selhurst which offers plenty of transport links to busses and tube for easy commutes to and from the school.

We are looking for

• An individual with good knowledge of Primary school curriculum (EYFS, KS1 and KS2)
• A can-do attitude when helping teachers and supporting students 1-2-1 and in groups
• Great work ethic
• A confident individual able to communicate well both with teachers and pupils
• Previous experience working in schools and with SEN
