A primary school in Hounslow Central is seeking a dedicated Reception SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students who require additional learning and emotional support. This role is perfect for someone with a caring nature and experience in Early Years education.

The Role:
As a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support for students with SEN, including those with autism and speech and language delays. You will assist children in their learning, social interactions, and emotional development during this crucial stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support for Reception students with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher in differentiating lessons to meet individual needs.
• Support the development of speech, language, and communication skills.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning experiences.
• Foster students’ social and emotional development through structured activities.

About You:

• Experience working in Early Years education, particularly with SEN children.
• Understanding of SEN strategies and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and external professionals.
