A primary school in Cranford is seeking a committed Year 4 Teaching Assistant to provide essential classroom support and help students achieve their academic and personal goals.

The Role:
As a Year 4 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to assist with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and group work. You will also work with small groups of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), to help them stay on track and develop both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support in Year 4, assisting with lessons in core subjects.
• Support small group work, including literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Assist students with SEN, ensuring they are able to fully participate in class activities.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
• Support the emotional well-being and social development of students.

About You:

• Experience working in a primary school, particularly with Key Stage 2 students.
• Understanding of SEN strategies and how to support students with diverse needs.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and able to communicate effectively with children and staff.
• A proactive team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
