Location: Mainstream Primary School, West Drayton, Hillingdon
Position: 3 ROLES – Year 2, Year 3, ARP TA (1:1 Support)
Contract Type: MON-FRI 8:30 AM-3:30 PM Full-Time
Salary: £425-£525 PAYE (NO UMBRELLA) Competitive, based on experience

We are seeking three enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for our primary school in West Drayton, UB7. The roles are available in Year 2, Year 3, and a specialised provision class supporting children with speech and language difficulties and ASD. You’ll assist in lesson preparation, provide one-to-one support, and help create a positive learning environment tailored to each child’s needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Graduates in Psychology, Sociology, Drama, or Arts are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with Autism or other SEN is a plus.
• Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
• A creative, proactive approach to supporting children’s development.
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism, helping them engage with the curriculum.
• Adapt lesson materials using creative strategies to meet their learning needs.
• Promote social skills, emotional well-being, and independence.
• Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure success.
• Monitor progress and offer feedback to the team.
