Are you ready to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Upper Key Stage 2?
A primary school in Osterley is looking for a Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students requiring additional learning and behavioural support, helping them achieve their potential in a positive learning environment.

The Role:
As a Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who need extra support due to learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, or social and emotional needs. You will help them to engage with the curriculum and develop key skills that will prepare them for their transition to Year 6.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for Year 5 students with SEN.
• Work with the class teacher to adapt lessons and resources for individual students.
• Support students’ emotional and social development.
• Assist with behaviour management in the classroom.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and classroom support techniques.
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting student development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
