A primary school in Feltham is looking for a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to provide in-class support and help students achieve their learning goals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and supporting them through their educational journey.

The Role:
As a Year 4 Teaching Assistant, you will assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing targeted support to small groups of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will help students with literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas, ensuring they make progress academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to Year 4 students in various subjects.
• Work with small groups of students, including those needing additional help with literacy and numeracy.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and behaviour management.
• Support students with SEN to ensure they are fully engaged in learning activities.
• Help foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

About You:

• Experience working in a primary school, ideally with Key Stage 2 students.
• Understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and strategies for supporting learning.
• Experience with SEN students is an advantage.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and proactive, with strong communication skills.
