The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting learning activities.
- Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support.
- Support students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and report back to the teacher.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management.
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) where necessary.
- Provide general administrative support when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A willingness to support the school’s inclusive ethos.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards one) would be an advantage.
