Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) for a 1:1 SEN role in the reception class, working with a non-verbal autistic child. This position requires a patient and nurturing individual passionate about working with young SEN children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a non-verbal autistic child
• Assist in the reception class
• Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Passion for working with young SEN children
• Good knowledge of special educational needs
• Experience working with Early Years children in a school or nursery
• Previous experience with non-verbal autistic children is beneficial but not essential
