A primary school in Hounslow Heath is looking for a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to students with additional learning needs. This role will give you the chance to make a significant impact on young learners as they develop their academic and social skills.

The Role:
As a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with students who have SEN, including autism, ADHD, and emotional or behavioural challenges. You will offer one-on-one and small group support, adapting resources and lessons to meet the needs of individual students. Your support will play a key role in helping children feel confident and included in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to Year 3 students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum.
• Assist with classroom behaviour management and foster a positive learning environment.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create individual support plans.
• Support students in their social and emotional development, helping them build confidence.
• Help students improve their communication, literacy, and numeracy skills through targeted interventions.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, ideally in a Key Stage 2 setting.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
