Are you experienced in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Key Stage 2?
A primary school in Osterley is looking for a dedicated Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure that students with SEN are fully supported in their learning and personal development.

The Role:
As a Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide individual and group support to students with SEN, including those with autism, dyslexia, and ADHD. You will help create an inclusive and encouraging environment, adapting lessons and resources to suit the needs of each child and fostering their academic and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer one-on-one and small group support to Year 5 students with SEN.
• Help adapt teaching resources and strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Support classroom behaviour management and encourage positive interactions.
• Work with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor student progress and adjust support as needed.
• Provide emotional and social support to help students build confidence and develop key life skills.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and how to implement them effectively in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with students and staff.
