Year 2 Teaching Assistant | Lambeth| £70 – £85 per day

We are working with an ‘Outstanding’ Primary School based in the London Borough of Lambeth who are seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. Working with this school will offer the candidate the opportunity to broaden their experiences and assist children from various backgrounds.

The role will require the candidate to assist the class teacher in the planning and preparation of lessons, deliver interventions in small groups and on a one-to-one basis and also maintaining pupils progress reports.

To be considered for this position you must have a can-do attitude, be prepared to perform whichever task is required of you, have strong interpersonal skills, be able to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels.

Year 2 Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Level 3 teaching qualification
• 3-6 months classroom experience
• Experienced in interventions
• SEN experience (desirable)
• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Be able to provide 2 references
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
