An outstanding Special School for students aged 4-11 with mild to moderate, complex learning needs. We are seeking to recruit an energetic Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. You will need to be passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and committed to providing them with the best educational support possible.

• Working hours: 8.00 – 16.30, Monday to Friday, term-time only (ca. 39 weeks a year)
• Daily Rate: £85.00 – £105.00

Responsibilities

• To assist teaching staff to plan and prepare lessons and resources within the school curriculum.
• To reinforce targets throughout the school day.
• To support students both within the class and during unstructured situations.
• To produce and maintain up-to-date pupils’ profile and behaviour plans.
• To follow school procedures in reporting incidents and safeguarding concerns.
• To act as a resource and support for other staff members working with the children.
• To participate in supervision and support as required.
• To maintain continuous professional development.
