SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support in our client primary school in Brent.
We are currently working alongside a lovely, mainstream primary school located in the heart of Brent. You will take on the role of SEN Teaching Assistant, in which you will provide 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs such as ASD and SLCN.
Role Responsibilities:
- Utilise your experience working with children to provide individualised support
- Assist in implementing educational activities tailored to each child’s needs
- Support the class teacher in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with both students and teaching staff
- Aid in the social, emotional and academic development of pupils
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies when needed
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Required Skills:
- Demonstrable experience working with children, particularly those with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN interventions and strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with children
