Salary: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

A nursery in Norbury is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with children aged 3-4 who require additional support in their early development. This role is perfect for someone with experience in Early Years who wants to make a lasting impact on young lives.
The Role:
As a Nursery SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to children with SEN, including those with developmental delays, autism, and social communication difficulties. You will help create an inclusive environment that fosters each child’s development, working closely with teachers to ensure every child feels supported and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer individual and small group support for children with SEN in the nursery setting.
- Assist in adapting activities to suit individual learning and developmental needs.
- Encourage language, social, and emotional development through structured play.
- Support behaviour management and create a nurturing, inclusive environment.
- Work with the SENCO and teaching staff to monitor children’s progress.
About You:
- Experience working with SEN children, particularly in an Early Years setting.
- Familiarity with SEN strategies, particularly in a nursery environment.
- Warm, patient, and able to foster trust and communication with young children.
- Committed to supporting children’s early development and learning.
