A primary school in Waddon is seeking a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to students who need extra guidance to succeed in their education. This role is perfect for someone who is compassionate, enthusiastic, and ready to make a positive difference.

The Role:
As a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with the class teacher to provide tailored support to students with SEN. You will help create a positive learning environment and empower students to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for Year 3 students with SEN, including autism and speech and language difficulties.
• Modify learning materials and activities to engage students effectively.
• Encourage positive behaviour and develop students’ social and emotional skills.
• Work closely with the SENCO to implement and review individual support plans.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

About You:

• Previous experience working with SEN children, especially in Key Stage 2.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies, including visual aids and sensory support techniques.
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting student development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
