A welcoming primary school in Rotherhithe is looking for a Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide focused support to pupils with additional needs.

The Role:
As a Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in helping students overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support for Year 5 pupils with SEN, including ADHD and learning delays.
• Work with the class teacher to adapt lesson materials and activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with the SENCO to track progress and refine support strategies.
• Foster a sense of inclusion and belonging for all students.

About You:

• Previous experience supporting SEN students, especially in Key Stage 2.
• Knowledge of effective SEN strategies, such as behaviour support plans and tailored interventions.
• Positive, proactive, and passionate about education.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
