Ortus Recruitment are seeking an SEN specialist Teaching Assistant to work with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary school located in the London Borough of Barnet.

The school has a great work environment, with supportive staff and welcoming pupils. This placement offers a great opportunity to experience a range of classroom activities; aiding the teacher in lesson planning, preparation, delivery, marking homework and holding small group interventions and one-to-one sessions as required.

As a one-to-one SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism), the successful applicant will support the progress of a children who are diagnosed with ASC. The support will be academic, social and developmental.

· Full time, long term ongoing position

· ASAP start

· £70 – £90 Per day (PAYE!)

We are looking for

· An individual who is proactive, reliable and passionate about working with SEN

· Great work ethic

· Able to work well in groups and 1:1

· Previous experience working with SEN

Requirements

· Able to work full time – (Monday to Friday)

· Right to work in UK

· Have 2 relevant references

· Possess enhanced DBS on update service/ willing to apply for one
