The Role:
As a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting children with additional needs, ensuring they get the best start to their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support for Reception pupils with SEN, including developmental delays and sensory processing challenges.
• Assist in delivering play-based learning activities that encourage engagement and development.
• Create a calm and inclusive environment that supports emotional well-being.
• Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to implement individualised support plans.
• Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet evolving needs.

About You:

• Experience supporting SEN children in an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies, including sensory integration techniques and visual supports.
• Compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient in working with young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
