A vibrant primary school in Selhurst is seeking a motivated Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for pupils with special educational needs.

The Role:
In this role, you’ll help foster an engaging and supportive classroom environment for Year 3 pupils with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one and with small groups to support pupils with SEN, such as ADHD or autism spectrum conditions.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lesson plans tailored to pupils’ abilities.
• Monitor and record pupils’ progress, offering regular feedback to the SENCO.
• Develop and implement strategies to support social skills and emotional well-being.
• Facilitate smooth transitions between activities for pupils requiring extra guidance.

About You:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in Key Stage 2 settings.
• Proficiency in delivering targeted interventions to enhance learning outcomes.
• A patient, understanding, and creative approach to addressing individual challenges.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team.
