A nurturing primary school in Crystal Palace is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide specialist support to Key Stage 1 learners.

The Role:
As a Key Stage 1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in helping pupils achieve academic and personal success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-on-one and group support for pupils with SEN, such as speech and language difficulties or sensory needs.
• Assist in planning and delivering activities that promote communication and independence.
• Implement effective strategies to support behaviour management and engagement.
• Liaise with the SENCO and class teachers to ensure pupils’ needs are met effectively.
• Foster a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported and encouraged.

About You:

• Experience supporting Key Stage 1 pupils with SEN.
• Familiarity with tools such as visual schedules, PECs, or sensory aids.
• A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
