We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a warm, inclusive, and vibrant primary school in Croydon. This is your chance to gain invaluable hands-on experience while supporting children’s growth and development.

Role Highlights:

• Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Pay: £80 – £100 per day PAYE (based on experience)

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with pupils in the classroom, creating an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere.
• Provide one-on-one support to a Year 2 student, tailoring assistance to their specific needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to foster a nurturing and creative classroom environment.
• Promote and maintain positive behavior, encouraging pupils to achieve their best.
• Assist in classroom organization and contribute to the overall safety and creativity of the learning space.

What We’re Looking For:

• A proactive individual with a positive, can-do attitude and a friendly demeanor.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to effectively engage with pupils, staff, and parents.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s educational and personal development.
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred (but not essential):

• Experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with children.
• Knowledge or experience in special education or related fields.
• A demonstrable passion for helping others succeed in their educational journey.
