EYFS Learning Support Assistant

Ortus Recruitment is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join a well-established primary school in Clapham. This position is ideal for individuals seeking valuable school experience or those considering a future career in teaching. The role is temporary, offering a rewarding experience supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and providing a great foundation for your career development.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will provide classroom support across the Nursery and Reception classes, assisting children with both group activities and one-to-one support. Your contribution will ensure that all pupils are able to fully access the curriculum and achieve their potential. You will also support the social and emotional development of the children, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include assisting with general classroom activities, supporting pupils during outdoor play, and working closely with teachers to ensure the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN), are met. You will play a key role in helping children engage with learning and supporting their overall development.
