Ortus Recruitment is looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large, inclusive, and supportive mainstream primary school in Ealing Broadway. Job Description

We are seeking a CACHE Level 3 qualified TA or an SEN-experienced TA to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), currently working at a Reception level. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is dedicated to supporting children with additional needs in a mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing individualised support to help the child engage with learning
• Implementing tailored learning strategies to support development
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Using patience, empathy, and creativity to support the child’s needs

Requirements

• CACHE Level 3 qualification (or significant SEN experience)
• Experience supporting children with ASC and communication needs
• A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to learning support
• Ability to work effectively in a large, collaborative team
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
