We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant our partnered mainstream primary school located in Putney to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning in a Key Stage 1 classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You will provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, helping them to develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and beyond. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that every child has equal access to learning opportunities, fostering confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in lesson preparation, supporting classroom management, and providing pastoral care to pupils who may need additional guidance. You will also help with marking, assessment, and classroom organization, ensuring that the learning environment is stimulating and well-resourced. Additionally, you will play a key role in school activities, accompanying pupils on trips and supporting extracurricular events.

We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual who enjoys working as part of a team. A strong understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people is essential.
