Ortus Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading primary school in Streatham, seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team after the February half term. Role Overview:
- Hours: 08:30 – 16:00
- Daily Rate: £85 – £105 per day PAYE
- Start Date: After February half term
- Location: Streatham, London

Your Role:
As a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping students with additional needs reach their full potential. You will work closely with teachers to deliver tailored support, both in the classroom and through one-to-one or small group interventions. Your impact will help students not only succeed academically but also grow in confidence and resilience, preparing them for future challenges.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school or educational setting is highly desirable.
- A passion for working with children, particularly those with learning difficulties, and a drive to help them succeed.
- Confidence in delivering interventions that promote educational progress and personal development.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
- A positive, patient, and nurturing attitude that helps create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Trial Period:
Candidates will be invited to take part in trial days during the first week after the February half term, beginning on 24th February 2025. This will be an opportunity to showcase your skills and demonstrate your passion for working with children with SEN.
