Do you have a passion for supporting children with complex learning needs?
A specialist SEN school in Croydon is looking for a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to support KS2 students with a range of learning difficulties, including ASD, speech and language needs, and physical disabilities.

The Role:

You will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored learning support, ensuring each child can access education in a way that suits their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with complex learning needs.
• Assist with communication development, including the use of PECS and Makaton.
• Support students with sensory processing and emotional regulation.
• Help with personal care and mobility (training provided).
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress.

About You:

• Experience working with children with complex SEN needs is desirable.
• Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to making a difference.
• Understanding of alternative communication methods and sensory needs.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow individual education plans (IEPs).
