Ortus recruitment are looking for an experienced individual to work in one of our partner schools in Caterham. The individual will need to specialise in behavioural management as they will be working closely with those who have learning and behaviour difficulties.

Located in Caterham, the school is convenient to travel to if you drive or use public transport. There are many bus routes surrounding the school as well as a local station.

The school has a range of great facilities and an amazing team of staff who all aim to provide the best experience for the children. You will be mentored by the school’s SENCO who is very keen on having a positive impact on those who require additional needs.

The role:

• £70-85 per day (PAYE)
• Full time long term
• Working on a 1:1 or small group basis with those who have additional needs
• Implementing techniques/strategies that can improve behaviour and learning
• Monitoring and tracking progress of students responsible for

This is a challenging role so you will need to be patient and be able to handle difficult situations. You will also need to have a strong knowledge of the curriculum to help students out during lessons. In order to apply you will need a fully enhanced DBS on the update service and provide two references. The role is full time and are looking for someone for an immediate start.
