Ortus Recruitment is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a reputable school in Battersea. This is a long-term role and our partner school seeks for a candidate who can start after the February Half-Term.
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant with prior primary school experience, looking to take on a new challenge and advance their career in education.

The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and ambition, providing a nurturing learning environment for children aged 3 to 11. Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Level 3 Diploma.
- GCSEs (A* to C) in English and Maths.
- A supportive, nurturing approach with high expectations.
- Experience working with children with SEN, including Autism, SEMH, Challenging Behaviour, and SLCN.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Proactive, committed, and adaptable.
- Prior experience in a primary school setting or with primary-aged children.
- Restraint training (e.g., PRICE, MAPA, or Team Teach) is desirable.
