  • Work closely with the Lower KS1 team to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for small groups of learners requiring extra assistance.
  • Implement effective and fair behaviour management strategies in line with the school’s approach.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the pupil’s progress and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have prior experience working in a primary school, SEN setting, or nursery environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, pupils, and parents.
  • Show dedication, commitment, and resilience in working with children, particularly those with additional learning needs.
  • Be confident in managing occasionally challenging behaviour and implementing positive behavioural strategies.
  • Ideally be local to Tooting.

Benefits of the Role:

  • Opportunity to undertake teacher training in partnership with the school for the right candidate.
  • Clear career progression opportunities.
  • A vibrant, creative area of London to work and live.
  • In-house CPD training to enhance your professional development.
  • Competitive daily rate of £80-85 per day.

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Provide professional references and any relevant overseas police clearances if applicable.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
