Our partnered primary school, located in a lively location of Lambeth, is seeking a Special Needs Support Assistant to provide tailored assistance for children with additional learning needs. You will work directly with students to help them overcome barriers to learning and assist them in achieving their educational goals. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support for children with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom
• Adapt lesson plans and resources to meet the individual needs of students
• Assist with personal care and social development of pupils
• Help students build essential life skills and confidence
• Work closely with teachers and staff to monitor and review progress

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable
• A caring, empathetic, and patient approach to working with students
• A qualification or training in Special Educational Needs is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
