We are seeking a Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to work within the Key Stage 1 team to support children with special educational needs (SEN) and help create an engaging, inclusive classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students in Key Stage 1, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Assist the class teacher in the delivery of lessons, ensuring all children are fully included and engaged.
  • Work closely with students, offering one-on-one or small group support to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Support the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor and assess student progress.

Essential Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Patience, proactivity, and a nurturing attitude towards children.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A positive and inclusive approach to supporting students, especially those with SEN.
  • No prior qualifications are required—this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start or develop a career in education and child development.
  • Experience in schools, early years settings, or child-focused roles is desirable but not essential.
