Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Assistants to join our team and support mainstream primary schools across the London Borough of Lambeth. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
• Provide support to students with their learning and development needs, both individually and in groups
• Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and other school activities
• Offer feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting young learners
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
• An enhanced DBS check (or willing to apply for a child workforce DBS)
