Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Learning Difficulties Support (Year 1)
Location: Thornton Heath, Croydon, Greater London
Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

A welcoming primary school in Thornton Heath is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 student with mild to moderate learning difficulties.
The Role:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for a Year 1 pupil.
- Assist with phonics, early maths, and fine motor skill development.
- Use visual aids, repetition, and multi-sensory learning techniques.
- Help the student build confidence and independence.
- Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to adapt learning materials.
About You:
- Experience supporting children with learning difficulties is desirable.
- A patient and nurturing approach to teaching and learning.
- Enthusiasm for early years education and special needs support.
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
