As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment. This role offers the chance to work with the same year group throughout the academic year, allowing you to build strong, positive relationships with the children while contributing to their success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in creating and maintaining an engaging classroom environment
• Support individual students or small groups to ensure they reach their full potential
• Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring that materials are tailored to students’ needs
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback where necessary
• Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every student feels supported and encouraged

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with primary school-aged children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students and staff
• A collaborative approach, able to work effectively within a team
• A passion for education and a desire to contribute to children’s academic and emotional growth
• Relevant qualifications in education or child development (desirable)
