Ortus recruitment are excited to present a new opportunity in our partner Primary School in Thornton Heath for a SEN Learning Support Assistant.

The school has an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ for their last report with great facilities and a strong team who provide a great standard of education.

A successful candidate should have previous experience working in schools and pupils with SEN. They must also be familiar with Primary School curriculums and be reliable and patient with pupils.

The role consists of working in groups with children and working on a 1:1 basis with pupils that may need additional help. Also working alongside the teacher, you will be helping them plan and organise lessons as well as supporting children with their learning and development.
