Location: Thornton Heath, Croydon, Greater London
Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Do you have experience supporting children with ADHD and behavioural needs?
A vibrant primary school in Thornton Heath is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 5 student with ADHD, helping them stay focused and engaged in their learning.
The Role:
- Support a Year 5 student with ADHD, using structured routines and positive behaviour strategies.
- Implement de-escalation techniques and encourage self-regulation.
- Assist in delivering individualised learning strategies to keep the student engaged.
- Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to implement support plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About You:
- Experience working with children with ADHD or behavioural needs is desirable.
- A patient, calm, and proactive approach to SEN support.
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
