A vibrant primary school in Thornton Heath is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 5 student with ADHD, helping them stay focused and engaged in their learning.

The Role:

• Support a Year 5 student with ADHD, using structured routines and positive behaviour strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and encourage self-regulation.
• Assist in delivering individualised learning strategies to keep the student engaged.
• Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to implement support plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You:

• Experience working with children with ADHD or behavioural needs is desirable.
• A patient, calm, and proactive approach to SEN support.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
