Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Croydon

Role Details

• Location: Primary School in Croydon
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Pay: £80.00 – £105.00 per day (depending on experience)
• Start Date: Immediate or September start

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional assistance
• Assist with classroom management, lesson preparation, and general duties
• Encourage and motivate pupils to reach their full potential
• Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
• Manage and de-escalate behavioral challenges effectively

What We Are Looking For

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach
• Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to a dynamic school environment
• Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus but not essential
