Do you have experience supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)?
A specialist primary school in Croydon is seeking a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support KS2 pupils with PMLD, ensuring they can access education in a safe and structured environment.

The Role:

• Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with PMLD.
• Assist with personal care and mobility, ensuring pupils’ comfort and dignity.
• Use sensory-based learning approaches to support engagement.
• Work alongside therapists, SENCOs, and teachers to implement EHCP targets.
• Support pupils’ communication through assistive technology and visual aids.

About You:

• Experience supporting children with PMLD or complex medical needs is desirable.
• A calm, patient, and compassionate approach to SEN support.
• Training in manual handling, PEG feeding, or communication aids is beneficial.
• Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn new strategies.
