About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students, ensuring they reach their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
• Supporting individual students and small groups with their learning.
• Encouraging and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe space for learning.
• Preparing learning materials and resources as required.
• Supporting students with additional learning needs.
• Assisting with extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children (in a school or similar setting) is desirable.
• A patient, caring, and positive attitude towards supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to different classroom settings.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
