Unqualified Behaviour Mentor – Wembley, Brent
Location: Wembley, Brent (North West London)
Pay: £90–£105 per day (PAYE)
Role: Full-time, long-term

Ortus Recruitment is working with a vibrant Primary School in the Wembley area of Brent, looking for a Behaviour Mentor to support a young pupil in Key Stage 1 (KS1) with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenge, wants to be a positive male role model, and is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.
The Role:
- Working 1:1 with a pupil who needs consistency, structure, and a strong role model
- Using movement, sport, and active approaches to improve focus and emotional regulation
- Helping the child develop positive behaviour strategies and stay engaged in the classroom
- Supporting teaching staff and following an individual support plan
Who We’re Looking For:
- Males from a sports, coaching, youth work, or mentoring background
- Experience with children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs, or additional support needs
- Resilient, reliable, and able to stay calm under pressure
- Someone who can set boundaries while building trust and rapport
