Job Description:
Ortus Recruitment is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden. This rewarding role involves working closely with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing both one-to-one and small group support, and leading targeted interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
• Deliver and lead structured academic and social interventions
• Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Collaborate with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
• Monitor and track pupil progress and contribute to EHCP reviews

Requirements

• Previous experience working with SEN in a primary school setting (essential)
• Confident in delivering targeted support and adapting learning materials
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a proactive attitude
• Relevant SEN training (e.g., Team Teach, Makaton, PECs) is desirable
• Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one
